I've been lurking on the boards for a while, stealing your wise words without registering
But i decided its time to throw myself in because you all seem like a nice bunch of lads (and ladies!). Im 18, im from manchester and at the moment thanks to my financial status im dubless... But i hope to have a nice shiny new car in febuary when i finally pass my test!
Right now im learning to drive in the new polo... and i have to say im quite impressed by it even when ive f**ked up its not stalled on me!. Only once..! So watch this space.. I'll be going for a mk2 or mk3 golf (obviously not GTi, i intend to drive it and not just look at it on the driveway! and i dont think driving without insurance is a good idea.. nor is robbing a bank to pay for the insurance!). So it may seem a bit early to be looking around at these kind of sites but im planning on doing a bit of modding (Nice modding though, not just bolting half of halfords onto the back of it
) once i do get the car.. so i think i should start collating knowledge! Im not a mechanically minded person (much to my dads dismay, he's been in the autotrade for 40odd years so ill be sponging cheap parts and knowledge off him too.)
