cleaning colour concept interior
« on: 04 December 2005, 12:22 »
what is the best stuff to use to clean the interior in my yellow colour concept as at the moment it looks shabby, and i cant afford the £1300 they want to have it re-trimmed, ive tried everything you can think of like bleach, fairy liquid, daz liquid, leather feeders, leather cleaners, is their anything else i can use to clean it up?

i just want to get it looking nice for the shows next summer

The Autoglym leather cleaner is pretty good imho - used it on my blue cc interior. But there is rumoured to be some better stuff, the name escapes me now, but the chap with the ferrari recommended it. And I forget his name too!!!! LOL not much help really!

Thats a really really nice interior.

Do only some certain MK3 Golfs have them?

Aye... Colour Concepts. They exist in 5 colours, Red, Blue (like mine), Green, Yellow (like this one) and Black...
There was also a similar (but not the same) interior in the VR6 Highline, available in Black or Aubergine.

How easy are the to find?

As it's something I'd really like, when I get my new MK3.

However due to my new job starting in Jan 06, I might get a MK4, better all round me thinks.

the colour concep interior is cracking!!

it just looks like its not been cleaned for ages and the dirt has stained.

maybe cause the yellow is lighter you can notice it more than on the other colours.

mines is red and its fine, does anybody else with a yellow coloue concept have a similar problem?
