Again, my personal opinion, but I really don't like the new grille, the exhausts, or the wheels.  I thought the old R32 was a much meaner looking car, and GTi also better looking.  R32 grille is too similar to Passats and some other VW's.

Matt555 - were you on S2ki.com?

Sure was Alex, yourself?  I arranged a few meets around the Oxford area when i was a member....  Also on honda revolutions......

Yup, AlexC on S2ki - I went to the first 3 SuperMeets, and organised some "Sussex Chapter" meets - crispy duck massacre, cinema visits to creepy Crawley.  Still occasionally post on there.

Yup, it was S2k to Tamora, and for the first 8 months it was my daily driver.  In the end realised this not the best idea - fuel, expensive servicing, depreciation etc - so got a Focus 1.8 Zetec for daily drive, great car for that job.

And dragging this back on topic - there is a good R32 review on Pistonheads, which Matt555 and I have both posted on:

Reviewer was not convinced about DSG, but the debate goes on in the forum.
