I read a thread a while ago on another forum which linked off to a thread about a Jetta in the USA. He mentioned a product called SEM trim black which is a proper paint/dye just for external black trim. The guy's car looked brand new after using this stuff and I believe has not had any problems with fading.
I am in the process of ordering some other SEM products (plastic spray dye for my new door speaker builds) and wondered if anyone else was interested in the supplier's details?
