Brakes on an 8v

wat a better comb 2 use on a 8v Digi, Mk2 16v calipers or Mk3 Gti Calipers, also which carriers wud I have 2 use??

Only joking. I would not recoment the 16v brakes as i belive are only slightly bigger than the 8v brakes. Best go for something like 280mm G60's. Sorry i cant help more on the finer details but there will be plenty of people on this site who can. Just give them time.

Also if your upgrading your brakes for bigger ones then you might want to consider upgrading the servo too.

I can't be sure when the change over was but the 8v's had the calliper carriers built into the hubs until the run out editions that had the 16v lights etc..

If yours is one of the early models then you will need to get hold of some 16v hubs to upgrade to the bigger brakes.

standard sizes are...
8v = 239mm
16v = 256mm
G60 = 280mm

If i was you then I would go for the G60 upgrade, that's what im going for myself as the 256mm brakes arent up to much!!

I don't know about the servo but the 16v may be bigger 

Oh, nearly forgot...if you go for the 280mm then early mk3 VR6 callipers are the same..and you will need the carriers for whatever callipers you are fitting

@ da mo I running it on standard 14s. sp I want da brakes da brakes 2 fit behind them?? wud dis be possible wid da 16v brakes??

not too sure about that one...ive always had 15's on mine but im sure some people have 14's
