pretty sure it doesnt run past the autochanger, it goes into the tailgate and behind the back panel, common problem for the pipe to come off and p!ss water everywhere. does he have a sunroof ? i think the sunroof drains take that route.

Topher, does the washer pipe run from the engine to the back via the head lining?

thinking about it now i really cant remember which route it takes, its been a while since i had the trim stripped out in mine. cocka tell your mate to unclip the back panel on the inside of the tailgate and see if the pipe has popped off the mechanism. there are repair kits available but i just bodged mine back on.

Toph. sussed it mate, the washer pipe does run through the headlining on the passenger side,if you pull the facia panel off between the parcel shelf and the roof linning, you can see the pipe, there is a connector there and it blows apart, probably, cause his pipe was frozen by the windscreen wiper, so the pressure built up and blew apart by here. could be something to watch out for in the future.
cheers

same happened to mine this morning so i stripped it down and pushed the plastic nozzel back on to the back of the wiper arm then tested it it was fine so i built it back up again and checked it when i got home looks like the bloody thing had come off again
so im gonna have to strip it down again tomorow and do a inviso repair
