unfortunately every country has their version of the chav or barry car modifiers <- this makes me sad.

btw the dutch, belgians and austrians produce modified dubs just as good as the germans, some awesome cars.

we can still ban the french though, noone likes the french.

Was watching Tuner TV (or whatever that shows called) on men n motors and it was showing some french abortion that used to be a Astra. You know there not aloud ANY form of engine modifications out there!!! If they want an exhaust they have to cut the existing pipe end off and weld a back box OVER it, And even that can get them into trouble  Anybody wanna lend me a 20VT mk2 that i can take over there and drive about with the bonnet off?

It's illegal to modify a car's engine in france so they're forced to do wierd things to the exteriors instead

Really? Is that there excuse? i just thaught it was the garlic and the fact 90% of them are pompus c*nts that made them do wierd stuff to the outside?

TBH it's the shape of things to come here boys... I was a TSR on Saturday for a rolling road day (cheers guys BTW) and having a quick chat with one of the guys there, everyone is expecting the EU to ban modding pretty much all over withing the next few years. Of course it's down to the individual member countries how they impliment this ban (ie with guns or tazers etc) and we'll end up with a sh!te deal at the end of it. Mark my words........

And yes, the french are all tossers.

Yes watch out guys! If we get the same regs as parts of Europe then our hobby/lifestyle will be badly affected>

We have been lucky so far mainly due to the kit car and restoration brigade and also the Customs and Hot Rod lot have been lobbying their MP's etc.

It may be time for us to get a bit more formal on this subject form an Association coz thats all the Government will listen to. Before you lot poo poo that idea the Hot Rod guys have got their own Association and the Drag people!

Yeah, then all the tuningh shops go out of business, and there's a black market for tuning parts, that cost sh1tloads and we all get really buggered come MOT time etc etc.....

Trust me, it's NOT good....
