been away for a while enjoying my car , few pees, and Qss , like my car is reall smokey  when she runs , white smoke , quite a lot of it , even when heated up , although eventually clears say after 30 mins and good boot , it is a 16 valver with 137 k on clock  , and also i keep losing it on round abouts , ive got low treaded bridgestones on the back and , good year eagel f1ns on the front (brand new) , i was thinking the differance in the tyre tread is the cause of the oooooooow ive spun her  (thank god ive not hit anyrthing ) factor. or is she 2 low if u can answer any of this drunken nonsence ill send u a pic as photo tramp is crap

dont worry about the white smoke mate, in this weather your gonna get it bad, as for the roundabouts, slow down  nah if your tyres are all good then maybe your suspensions on its way out?

before you do anything else check the rear brake bias adjuster, it should be set so that on level ground with a 'normal' weight in the boot the slack is just taken out of the spring.

If it has been lowered then I'd definitely check the rear bias adjuster as its often overlooked when loweing.  This will make you loose the back when going round corners, just ask 'MK2GTI2.016v' (yes thats his username, bet you can't guess what car he drives )
