i have my own parking space at work and this tsser in a stupid little white van nearly always parks next to me. I noticed the other day there was some white paint on the pannel under the rear passenger window. So this morning iv seen him pull into the carpark as im coming down the stairs to work and as ever, he parks next to me.
Im watching closely as he leaves his door open to get his stuf out the boot and, sure enough, the force 4 wind outside slams his door into the same pannell!
I ran over to my car and unlocked it on the remote making him jump. He looked round at me. Im clearly fuming!
He quickly pushes his door closed and smiles nervously at me, saying i thought id try to avoid the nice car!
SHAME U DIDNT! i replied looking at my scratched paint work. and that was it. I was so stunned i didnt no what to say. He didnt even appologise, just walked off!
What should I do? do i take his number plate? should i smash all his windows in? I cant believe what i saw. With any luck both the marks will t-cut out but i cant see it happening coz it feels like its sacrtched. Am i within my rights to get him to pay for it to be repaired? just seems like im being a little silly for a scratch but its a lot of money for a re-spray and i didnt want to have to get one!

Iv left a not telling him to contact me about the pannel he damaged with his door and telling him i have taken his number plate if he decides not to. Hopefully that will help.

What a complete f**king tosser, I agree with all of you.
The only thing is though if you have a certain spot to park, he knows where you park and may do the same back, think before you act man, no matter how pissed off you are.

this is my ultimate pet peeve!!!!!!!
I'm the same at work...i have an allocated spot and i cant prove any thing 'cos i didn't see it happen but i have to park right next to a right dizzy b***h and now i have a new dint in my panel!!!!!!! Sometimes if i see her coming into the car park after me i wait in my car till she gets out and goes, just so i can make sure she doesn't "rest" her door on MY CAR!
And I'm not jokin....i can go a supermarket (or any other big car park) and i can park the furthest away from everyone else to stop people opening the doors on my car, and i can guarantee that no matter how may spaces there are free closer to the shop someone always parks right next to me!! arrrrghhh!
So i usually take up to car spaces now! sod em!

See what happens with the note you left and then explain your not happy as its not the first time... Then see what he says, ask him he's insurance excess and he might say im really sorry and give you cash??
If he gets shirty tell him you have been resonable and then let him have it
I mean then say that your within your rights to hand it over to your insurance as you have already reported it to them and they say any damage is a right to claim on third parties insurance, (hence why we all have unsurance) maybe let him catch you taking pic's for evidence he'll soon get the message!!
Or buy/borrow a Volvo est and bash the doors into he's vehicle or park so close he cant get in
And people park so close to your pride and joy the same they sit next to you at a restaurant because people attract people
And I hate it!!!

Phil..if you have his plate..go throught your insurers...he wants to act like tw@t..you do so..even if it is a couple of scratches...hopefully you havent taken all of his paint off your car..cos obv they need to see wot he's actually done..then if that dont work..do his tyres...then a few weeks later..do them again..of his windows until your satisfied..
