« on: 25 November 2005, 15:14 »
Just bought Redline as they did a feature on Jo's tvr/golf a while back. 6 pages with loads of pictures

Was photographed running all the huge golfgti.co.uk stickers as well so big thanks to Jo for the promotional work

Cool, I will have to face the embarassment of buying that mag then

Did it make the cover?
08.03.10 - 3, maybe 4 weeks, and I want my golf back on the road!

LOL all the 'boy racers' i talk to about it (nova boys with 1.2s and bodykits i mean) Think it looks stupid because the engine doesnt look 'blingin enaugh'.

When i point out its a TVR Carbed V6 they usally give me a blank facial expression and make some sorta comment about why it hasnt got a sound system  I give up somtimes!

**Edit** Redlines probally the most taistful of the three main boy racer mags...Not that that says anything

the car does stand out a bit in the magazine against all that chrome on every other page!

it's a decent enough feature, bit low on tech detail but a lot of good pictures :)

MK1 Golf = dribble

TVR engine on carbs = dribble

MK1 Golf + TVR engine = puddle of dribble

Who needs a stereo when you've got the sound of a TVR?

I may consider purchasing Redline in that case, anything else of note in it?
Meh
