I am not new to Veedubs as you can tell from my sig. The Mk2 is the daily runner low mileage at only 170,000 miles
. Its an 8v and has seen some mods, its lowered on Raceland kit, the wheels in the pic are Lenzo DTM's although it spends most the time on teardrops. Engine is a second engine, the original is on the garage floor. My latest addition i would recommend for everyone - Corrado front seats, at 6ft 2 these are very useful and you almost sit on the floor.
The Mk1 is the project - 1.6Gti and is a restoration job, although its very solid and only cost me ?220 with 9 Months MOT and 3 Months tax. Its estimated to have only done 80,000 although can't be sure as the speedo stuck on 57k in about 1997. I might strip it out and hillclimb this car, I am not sure yet.
