misfiring mk2 8v (when cold)
« on: 22 November 2005, 13:41 »
When it is cold the no 3 cylinder has low compression but when it warms up (to about 70 degrees C oil temp) the compression comes back and it runs like a dream.

Have checked for sticking valves or tappets and done all the usual checks on the leads, spark plugs etc and nothing seems to have cured it.

Any ideas?
