OBD1 or OBD2? ETKA ?

The digits on the back of my vr6 manifold are;

021 133 223 K, GF6.7.93, MBF£

how can you tell if its for OBD1 or 2?

OBDII Data link connectors (DTC) you should have a 16 pin data connector for your diagnostic port on the left next to your ash tray.

The Car or The Manifold ?

OBD (On Board Diagnostics) is a standard way of connecting a car to a computer for diagnostics . TThe Mk3 Uses OBD-II and as the Count says its next to the ashtray [reomve the ashtray completely and slide the panel above th e cig lighter to the right]

ETKA is VW's part system .

Its the manifold i need to know about as i dont have the car pics are in the for sale section somewhere. cheers for help anyways

how can you tell if its for OBD1 or 2? /  far as i am aware all mk3's are OBDII like has already been said? what exactly do you need to know about the manifold your question asks if it's OBDI or OBDII.. :undecided: Confused old CoUNT .. :laugh:

date of manufacture is 93, it's an OBD1, the OBD2 had the later electronic ignition and different throttle body...
