I gotta say the MK3's are a great looking and comfortable car. Much more refined on the inside than my MKII and never got the reviews or praise they deserved. Times I wish I had bought one instead of another MKII but there is just something about my MKII that gets me everytime. The old squared look, the rough ride on the bumps, the handling (never owned another car that sticks to the road like a MKII) the anoying little quirks that always tend to turn up when you least want them. wouldn't trade it for the world. Thinking about hopping over to Germany in the summer to look up a G60 or a Rallye. Eventually I am going to have to go back to America (hopefully not for at least 5 more years) and I know they won't let me bring my 16v across.
