Any one know what outlet does good but not toooo expensive tyres.

And will 205-60-14's go on a mk2 lowered by 40 mm?

You probably get through more tires when you have a lowered car. Ive got some 4x 195.45/15's Yokahama booked for 2moro for ?200 +tracking and that was the cheapest deal i found.

Look around ur local tire shops.

I think the tires your after will probably be okay.

If you want to try something different try checking out BF Goodrich.

They did (and still do) a range of tyres (name i forget) that are wet weather specialist. They grip like anything in the wet and their dry performance was something out of this world.

They didn't cost the earth either and they were pulling an easy 45k miles before we had to change them due to the min tread pattern appearing.

This is definitely a make i'll be going after next year for the Golf.

I was checking BF Goodrich tyres last night.

If you wanna have a blast have a look at their Drag tyres. Check out the tread pattern. Seriously nice.

Just got my yokahama's. They handle great and there not even worn in yet. The lower profile tire also makes my 15's look bigger and the tire tread looks beefy ;D
