What bad things have you heard about wayoyl wax???
I've just done the underneath of my bus with that (well the clear one) and I'm planning on doing the golf over the winter.
The trouble with the tough rubbery paint type underseals is that unless you get a perfect impermeable layer they can allow moisture through and then trap it underneath. This moisture is then unable to evaporate and sits against the metalwork doing damage.

The only thing that's a bit crap about waxoyl is that it's a nightmare to work with. You gotta get it hot and keep it hot while you're working with it in order to keep the wax molten. Then everything you're using gets covered in it and the only way to get it off again is dumping everything in a bucket of hot water. Then the bucket you were using is covered in the stuff. Then when you've finished and you go inside you realise YOU are covered in the stuff. Does a great job but boy is it messy.

The other week when I did my bus I used the pressurised sprayer and can they do, it went on great but I soon got through 5 litres of the stuff. I ended up brushing on the last bit and discovered that to be the easiest method of keeping it under control. Next time I use it I'll just use a container in a tub of hot water and a large paintbrush.
