can look OTT if not done right. looks good on a black car but abit bright with other colours

a few pics of colour coded and non coded mk2's. have a look...

prefer non colour coded mk2's myself as it makes them look even wider

me too, thats the exact kinda thing i want on my mk3!

i think as far as coding goes it depends on the colour of the car

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..

wheels on the black one are borbet A's, more than likely in 9x16. my car is all colour coded but it doesn't show too much as its a black car anyway.
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post

I prefer colour code'd but agree it can look OTT, and take away any change in lnies of the car, as all you see is a "blob" of colour.

your spot on. I think even if you are goin to code it, its nice to leave the odd bit of black on there, otherwise it does end up like a blob. Saw a white mk2 the other day which was all coded, literally all, with all clear tints and white wheels which looked so awful i nearly cried!

put some pics up and it will help us in our decision. You could always put something in the virtual modifications page and see what the photoshoppers on here can do for you!

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..
