I've got a reflex silver 25th GTI 180bhp and its bloody awesome.....one thing to look out for is corrosion on the alloys, this is a b!tch and a common problem on the 25th.  If buying one just this out first.  Dealers will replace them under warranty if pushed.

I've just had all four replaced for free......

Hey plps,

Can someone look @ my post with pics of the alloys and tell us if this is why you got your alloys replaced with dealer? http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=48062.0

Cheers

Although I do love my Mk4 (even with only 150bhp) it's just not as involving to drive as some older cars. That's not always a bad thing though mind you, especially if you drive a fair distance regularly...but it seems like it almost drive's itself.

I think if I had a really nice Mk2 and my Mk4 and I was going out for a blast on the weekend it would be the key's for the Mk2 in my hand.
