Suspension Costs
« on: 16 November 2005, 15:45 »
Could anyone give me an idea of costs of suspension fixes. Not sure exactly what's wrong with mine but there's a sort of grinding noise on hard acceleration and sometimes going over an eneven bump the front right wheel will grind against the underside of the bumper. Doesnt feel like its anything terrible but need to get it sorted. Any ideas on the problem and the cost of getting it sorted (on a budget!)

Sorry - just noticed that I should have put that in the Maintenance and Info Section!

Cheers for that. Can I buy the parts and get a garage to fit it? There's no way my sausage fingers are going to manage to fit all that!

It really depends what is causing the problem. Best bet is to take it to a garage and see what they say. From your description it sounds like a CV joint needs replacing. Easy peasy for a mechanic.
