rubber gear change cover under car!

Hi all, anyone know what the rubber gear change cover under the car is called and if they are still available? it was just hanging on by a thread :)

Hello mate, dunno what its called my my local dealer looked it up years ago and it was obsolete then  :cry:

bugger! I gues it just to protect the underneath of the gear selctor then? I guess i can fix it and attach it somehow! strange why there is not a plate like on the mk2 ?

There should be a heat shield :wink: - they're also obsolete :cry:

I don't get this "obsolete" word - they're still making mk1's in south africa so why cant we get the bits :angry:

no it bolts in between the rubber boot and the exhaust :wink:

Er, i'm not to keen on getting under my car in this weather, i'll check my haynes manual im sure theres a picture in there  :laugh:
