G60 Rallye doubts
« on: 16 November 2005, 06:33 »
Hi there ,

I have been driving imprezas for a few years and i fancied something different/rare so i got my heart set on a G6o rallye,
anyway i did a google search and typed g60 rallye and the first link at the top of the page i clicked on was a web page saying something to the effect that golf rallye wheels fall off (fatigue faliure?)
this as really put me off.

Can someone please do a google search and type g60 rallye ,click on the first link and see if they can make any sense of it. The site is called volkswagen golf g60 rallye.

dont see how a company like VW would have made it if the wheels fell off...besides, there wouldnt be any left if that kept happening would there?

as said above...they are great cars
08.03.10 - 3, maybe 4 weeks, and I want my golf back on the road!

Aye what a load of trash, it happened to this one guy.  No-one else has ever said anything about it either on here, the 'other' UK forum or VW Vortex in the states.  Don't worry mate, it almost definitely wont happen to you :)

Sounds like a dick to me   Got an axe to grind for some reason....?  Its not like VW's are known for their wheels falling off is it? And its not exactly an unbiased website by any standard!  My personal favorite is the 'Discussion' section - is it discussed? nope, just tells us his opinion again!
