Who in the south for wheel polishing etc

I've got some BBS 14" alloys in my 8v, click on the following for pics

Now I thought at first they were just painted but they appear to be polished metal with a lacquer coat (in between the "spokes" they are painted some sort of anthracite I believe).
Now It's only the dish as it were that looks tatty as well as the centres so as this is not just a matter of stripping and painting who out there can get these to look nice again?

I know spit and polish are meant to be good, just not sure if they just repaint wheels or whether they polish etc.

would of thought the name of the company gave that away.

Spit and polish are a good company and will come and collect your wheels, take them away re con them and deliver them back within about 2 weeks i think.

It may seem obvious but they weren't too helpful on the phone when i've called them in the past  and for all I know they don't do it regardless of their name, that's why I put a post on here as I can get some other names from around the area, not meaning to come across as ungrateful or anything.

Plus they would have charged me more than my local tyre place who send off alloys to them anyway

Thanks guys.

Thanks Joe.

It seems my wheels may have been diamond cut before which means usually they can't be done again  (according to www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk)

Hmm decisions.

Cut my losses and get new wheels or  :undecided:

P.S stop bloody changing your name

nah yours will come up fine. i think it means that if you've had excessive metal taken off in the past then it can weaken the rim but as yours were like that from factory i can't see it being a problem. either that or get the wet and dry out and do them your self?
