lol, lazy....
I'm not looking at any new cars at the minute, I'm 20 years of age and at university, I own 3 mk2 golf gti's all road worthy, one was a project which i restored and finished early this year, thats a standard 1.8 8v, i also have just brought a atlas grey 1.8 8v golf, with alloys, g60 cam, lowered 60mm, half rollcage which taking out to sell, putting a nice rainbow interior in it. She goes very well and very quick, compared to my restored 8v.
My other golf mk2 golf gti with a 2 litre 16v abf lump in it, with a bit of work done to it, Producing around about 175bhp at flywheel using motronic injection. The car i brought off a member of this forum.
Hope that helps you out.

Spot On!! 3 gtis at 20 blimey and i though i was pushing it at having two valvers by 21. Which uni you at? Stuck in staffs myself.

The 2.0 sounds like my kind of car, mines a 2.0 but bored out from a old 1.8, and running just shy of 190bhp. I am presuming from the post in the mk3 section that you are looking for a VR conversion.

Here is a pic of my abf 2 litre 16v mk2 golf gti on the left and my restored mk2 golf gti 1.8 8v standard on the right, needs a little bit more to finish the 8v off to look perfect.

Having two valvers by 21 is good, i think i was lucky, got alot of vw mates i know. Im studying at coventry university doing automotive manufacturing and management

Nice 190bhp, i think im going to leave my abf as it is, runs perfect, and very very quick for what it is.

I'm having a look at running a vr in a mk2, then later supercharging or turboing on top of it, as i know ppl back home where i live who have both and they are quick, extremely.

Either click on it or you can right click and save as target....
You wil need Quicktime movie player to play it.
