OK it's another newbie on the forum, so before I dive straight into the other sections asking for help, here's a little introduction
H Reg 8v GTi in red, owned it for a few months now, been lowered, sports exhaust, alloys and stiffer suspension. Runs well most of the time and gives me fun on my daily commute.
I bought the Golf as a substitute for my MR2. The MR2 was proving increasingly more expensive to run and increasingly less practical so I knew it's days were numbered and I'd have a suitable replacement. Came across the GTi by accident, never owned one before but my step dad's son was selling his, so I snapped it up, knowing they have a good reputation for reliability, are fast becoming part of motoring history and most importantly, still have enough poke to keep me smiling when I drive it
I don't really know a great deal about them, having been into MR2's for the last 5 years, but I plan on learning
