Shaving/smoothing

Hi all im ive saved up my cash an am finally ready to get my mk4 golf 1.8 20vt. but the reason im posting on here is to find out how much i would be looking to pay to have this sort of work carried out. i was gonna have a bad boy bonnt extension smoothed door moulds and and shaved front and back bumpers how musch have u lot paid for this kind of work. cheers peeps

I was quoted to have my tailgate flushed and bumpers smoothed - £1400 :sad:

flippin heck i was looking to pay that for the full job. at that price they must've been smoothing it with bloomin gold.

I asked 3 different guys at the last VW show too and they all quoted £1000-£1200 for the same, flush tailgate and smooth front and back bumpers

just speaking to a mate who works for a bodyshop reckons he can do front and back bumpers and side moulds for £600 all in. just gotta get a golf now.

Just make sure it is done properly, as you dont want it all fallling apart in 6 months time

Had my door mouldings removed, tailgate flushed......  :laugh:
