Not only that, but by the time it arrives on your side of the pond in 2007, the price will have dropped to a far more reasonable $30,000 or thereabouts for the manual, non-DSG model."

30k dollars for a 300bhp 4 wheel drive mk5. What will that be here? 27k?

exactly, which is nothing like it will be priced at in the UK

i was on holiday in USA this year and nearly every ad on tv was for a car.

loads of cars around the $20000 mark with around 400bhp

If you think thats bad, in Ireland we have an additional tax called VRT, adds on another 30% on 2L cars!!

Full list on a 3dr Manual Mk5 GTI is about 36k euro, about £24k pounds!!!!

List on a new R32 when it arrives...................53k euros!!!!!!
