Return of the wobbly idle on my 16v :(
« on: 04 November 2005, 12:05 »
Hi Guys

The dipping idle problem has returned over the last few days. My car has been garaged for about two weeks and now the revs occasionally drop down to 800rpm when approaching junctions etc. The engine runs fine and doesn't stall but it doesn't feel far from it! Any more ideas guys I know it needs a retune!

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

mine used top do this, even stall on the odd occasion, replaced the ISV control module under the dash, and all is OK now  (touch wood!)

...and stick a filter on the end of the crancase breather hose and block the hole up on the box side, then it stays nice and clean :)
