Hi all. I've just bought my first gti mkII and I'm loving every minute of it.

The only thing which is annoying is the fact that the flasher unit is constantly buzzing when the engine is running and the indicator light on the dash is dimly lit whilst ignition is on!!! all indicators and hazards work fine.

Any ideas?

sounds like the hazard switch has had it, either that or the indicator stalk.  If its a late one with the hazard switch on the column then you'll have to replace them as a pair as they are a single unit.
