sorry for the late reply.
in a nut shell my actuator seized up meaning we had no control on my boost levels. I have a video on the phone of it almost jumping off the rollers.
I now need a new actuator which I bought yesterday so that needs fitting. then new management to get the most of the engine. At the moment the wastegate is locked open to it doesn't spin the turbo so low compression and no turbo makes very little power.
I'm buying a DTA E48 ECU on sunday. I'll need a new boost sensor to go on the engine and a loom to link it all up. then a map done and I'll be rocketting away. the standalone management gives slightly better results than the OEM so I've been told I'll be looking at 240bhp now.

I'm on a bit of a downer at the moment and I have the MOT tomorrow. those emissions bettered not be too mental. looking for another cheap as f**k mk2 to use while mine is having the loom made.
