Good and bad news (56k warning)
« on: 30 October 2005, 15:14 »
Good news: car is looking sweet, very happy with how it looks

Bad news is engine is showing signs of wear. Been giving it alot of thought and decided to spend the money, get the job done properly and keep her for a good 5 years more if not longer. Not sure on prices of reconditioning. I see TSR do a 1.8 8v fitted for £1750, i take it this is a recon engine?

Thoughts and advice appreciated

Would hope so for that price! :)

Guess it depends on whether you are after an increase in performance or just a fresh engine?

VR6 would be waaaaaaay too heavy - unless all your journeys consist of straight roads
