Thanks all, it is between a mongoose and a magnex exhaust from Big boys toys. Any feedback would be appreciated, Steve.

the new Magnex exhausts arent a straight thru exhaust anymore, they now recirculate the gases to & fro upto 3 times

there was a big discussion on this on the clubgti board about this, one fella spoke to a rep in Magnex and they confirmed this, their exhausts are now only for looks & noise, not performance

Hi Craig, tried to reply to your email about my exhaust, but it returned it to me, is your inbox over full?

The jetex exhaust has a 2.5" bore and is a straight thru system but it is a quiet system so if you are after power and not noise, then it could be a good one to look out for.

Cheers

Craig

ps, IF I break it I would want about ?100 for the exhaust (cost me over ?200 4 months ago) and something like ?200 for the brakes (ATE power discs, mintex pads, quattro calipers and carriers + the master cylinder/ servo as it is all working well together and I think it may ne a later 22mm item but I cant be sure). If you want both (and I don't know if I can break it, space is a problem) then you may as well take the whole car for ?350 and sell on the bits you dn't want/ need and get a fair bit, if not most, of your money back. Send me an email if you are interested

Thanks Craig, would think about taking the whole car but Bath is a long way from me (Englishman in Scotland).
The mongoose is in the lead at the mo, good info on the Magnex as I was not aware that they ar not straight thru, prolly the gummermint had something to do with it ::).
Thanks all, Steve.

Excuse if this is a repost, (computer probs >:() but I have done it. Just ordered a mongoose from Collins, talked to the man at the dyno and he said the 'goose was the one to go for. Thanks Gambit tor the "heads up" on the magnex as that was what swung it.
Steve.
