lowering my gti.... advice

Im going to keep the standard 15' s and i want to lower the golf, thing is i need soem advice on what to go for ? in my opinion the front sits higher than the back so is the say 60mm/40mm kits available ? any information is appreciated :) thankyou

or if your on a budget try some bonrath lowering cups onthe front?

cheers for the response... do you have a link for the lowering cups ? and would 60mm down all round go well ?

if you're dropping it 60mm then make sure you by a kit with matching shocks...saves you replacing the knackered originals after about a month  :grin:

yeah, i was meaning shocks and springs ? i know nothing about VW's yet....

i think i am going to go for 60mm all round( shocks and springs) opinions...

i would go for the 60mm lowered springs with shocks as the 40 is not enough
or if you can afford go for fk highsport ajustable coilovers as ive got on my car.

me again... decided i want to go for shocks and springs, thing is definately 60mm at the front but im not sure about the back, 40mm or 60mm, does anybody have any pictures available ? with or without standrad rim, cheers guys :)

I agree with you mate. I've just bought a mk3 and it does sit higher at the front than the back. So what did you do ? how low did you go ? what did you buy and how did it turn out ? all advise gratefully recieved.

mine's on a 70/60 drop... this is how it sat on standard 14" wheels
