Isn’t the BMW M2 built in Mexico?
I seem to recall people having same concerns as the time but expect all was ok. Likely just additional wait times due to shipping. Don’t think it would worry me personally.
Car manufacturing involves a huge global supply chain. I had a new Mercedes C240 back in 2002, engine built in Stuttgart, shipped to South Africa, car assembled, shipped back to Europe. Wouldn’t bother me one bit where a car was made seeing as most of the components that make it the car it is are manufactured all over the world.
