Greetings. I have the above car and would like a more GTI exhaust note from it. I'm aware that it's fitted with an OPF, so I'm going to have challenges. However...
I am looking at an OPF-back Milltek system. The choice is between resonated and non-resonated. I have been advised that the resonated will take me to 'pre-opf stock-equivalent' sound, and that the non-resonated will give me a more sporty note. However, I am planning to do proper miles in this, so need it to behave, and not drone on motorway runs.
I am not after a beast. I'd simply like a more engaging note when driving. Does anyone have any experience of either the Milltek res or non-res on the opf-fitted GTI? Any thoughts, especially on cold start and motorway driving.
