Is this legit or a scam? I try to avoid clicking on pop ups just in case but would appreciate knowing if this is genuine or not, only started a couple of days ago. Cheers!

I turned that on yesterday.
It should only show it once every 7 days.
It's something like 6 seconds of advert.
Guest usage has gone crazy on here over the last couple of months - probably being scrapped by AI - so I thought why not intercept a bit of that.

It makes me do it every day, it's quite annoying plus I'm a bit dubious about clicking unknown links.

Every day here too. And there are some odd ads that make me think I should not be clicking on them.
Is there not a way guests get it pop up, but registered members don't?

It's definitely set to only show once per 7 days. Unfortunately the '24 hours access' message isn't linked.
Yes it's crap but no-one, I mean, no-one clicks on the banner adverts on the site.
Lets see how it goes for a bit.

Mine worked fine for 7 days. A minor irritant for what we get back.

My comment sounds worse than the intent, in fairness, clicking a button a few times is hardly a life changing exercise.

A bit torturous today, I don’t want a golf holiday package, buy a Honda, buy an electric bike or sell a static caravan🤷
