As I said my original one is a Moll, I had a Banner battery as OE on my previous MK5 TDI which I had from brand new - replaced it with another Banner (they are Austrian I think) when the time came.

I got rid of my Banner EFB and put in a Bosch AGM a year or two ago, just code it with OBD11 or VCDS.

Banner make their own batteries and are an excellent Austria brand.

brand
, and 'share' production with other battery companies including Varta and Exide.
They do make good wiper blades though
