Going from TCR to TTRS Nogaro
« on: 14 April 2026, 20:19 »
Hi all

I am considering selling my TCR and replacing it with a TTRS Nogaro edition. I have had the TCR for two years and love it but have a hankering for a TTRS - especially the limited run Nogaro edition. I have no finance on the TCR but would need some finance to fund the TTRS (affordable but finance none the less).

The TCR is a superbly specced car and runs like a dream along with being great to drive. I have always been a golf fan owning all the special editions from ED30 upwards.

Has anyone else made the jump to the TTRS and if so, would you mind letting me know your thoughts? I'd be keen to hear from others when have considered such swaps. For clarity, the Nogaro edition is about twice the price of the TCR, is slightly newer and has few miles than my car but is the jump worth it?

Appreciate the feedback as ever.

Cheers

I haven't but, cars like these are going to get old and disappear soon so I'd say if you can, do it. Exciting new cars seem few and far between and also very expensive. Even if you enjoyed it for a year and then moved it on at least you'd experienced it.
