GTI EDITION 50’s AT UK PORT

Hey, just wanted to create a new post so we can keep track of everyone that’s gotten the exciting call or email that their car has arrived at the port in the uk, and if possible what spec was chosen, as we know there is some parts issues black warmenau’s titanium exhaust and the rear spoiler apparently, thanks and make sure to post pics when you get it!

Alcantara steering wheel got a spare leather one ready to fit also
Sun blinds  bought already
Rubber mats bought already
Boot mat with flap bought already
Wind deflectors bought already might not fit them
Mud flaps bought already. Might not fit them also
New paddles for the steering wheel already fitted to the leather steering wheel 
Don’t like the stumpy ones
New tyres ready to swap out the semi slicks got  pilot sport  4s will depend on the maintenance plan they offer
 Dealer knows nothing about the plaque  but let’s hope he’s lying as it does look great

That’s a very detailed plan Garwen! What’s the status of your car, as it was one of the very first ones to arrive in the UK?

Regarding your tyres, I would happily buy them if we can agree a price, but perhaps look at the following video - I trust the reviewer and he states the Potenza Race is not a bad option as a permanent road tyre (In the Summer), as it’s wet performance is far better than other semi-slick style tyres. The PS4 design is well over 10 years old now and there are far better tyre options.
