5th injector sequence!
« on: 25 October 2005, 09:52 »
Am i right in thinking that on the KR 16v, this is how the 5th injector is triggered -

From cranking: power/activated is fed via the starter motor

Warm up: Power/activated is fed from the thermotime switch

Also does the WUR have anything to do with the control of this?

Cheers for any advice!

i always thought the 5th injector on k-jet was activated by some thermo kinda switch just to richen the mixture whilst cold and as soon as it gets to the set temp it stops working...

Yes mate the thermotime switch :)

but i think the starter activates it first to get some fuel in and once started the thermotime sitch does what you say!

Just wanted to double check i had it right :)

I think the best way to check is for votage on the connector, i'll start her up on the weekend ans see :)
