Am I dedicated or just plain mad?

Changed the clutch cable on the golf in the pouring rain tonight. I was soaked through to the skin, but at least the clutch is sorted now

Is anyone else as dedicated/mad as this? lol

well it had to be done! everytime I changed gear it sounded like a creeky old ship and it was so stiff it'd stay on the floor sometimes!

lol. I work 9 to 6. it's dark when I get home every day of the week. I would of had to wait until sunday to do it.

i changed a clutch and gear box in the rain at night in the middle of winter just to get to work the next day.  thats dedication and devotion turning the night time into the daaaaaay.

Terraced house, no garden, no drive. Lost count of the number of times I've been working on the car outside in the rain/ wind/dark/all of these with neighbours saying to me "you must be mad". If it needs doing, there's no time like the present, whatever the conditions. Would love a heated spacious garage though.

thats just one of the times also done another clutch lowered 3 cars twice each did a rear brake conversion and loads of other fiddley sh!t. but now i have as nice warm unit to work in with all the tools i need its great still do a bit out side though.
