Intermittent CCM wiring or connector fault
« on: 15 August 2025, 14:55 »
Car has an intermittent puddle / interior light fault with no lights working, boot/door open warning light shown on MFD and no lights left on buzzer (which has caught me out and flattened battery!).
I've traced it to the CCM, particularly the wiring or connection to the CCM.  Give the harness at the CCM a wiggle and lights work instantly. Fault comes back over and over again.
Just not sure how to continue diagnosis or apply a fix.
Any ideas?

Went a bit further into this.
No obvious wiring or connector damage so took the plunge and got the CCM out (battery disconnected etc)
Got it under magnifier and found damaged and poor soldering.

 :smug:
With soldering iron reflowed and added a bit of solder.
Back in the car and appears I've nailed it this time!
