Second manifold to replace!! First replacement was an updated version after 4 years so suppose this one has lasted better after a further 11 years. Might leave it for a bit as don't do many miles

Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone. White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.

Same fault code and engine management light. Not had a chance to check yet but likely that flaps are not moving correctly. Is not affecting driving at the moment. Surprised if it is carbon build up as have been using 99 Octane for last 12 years.

Reset the fault using VCDS and now driven nearly 100 miles with no recurrence. Maybe just a blip

Depends what milage done on that time I suspect. Maybe starting ro get coaked up restricting movement slightly at the moment. If happens again maybe remove and clean.

Mine did this years ago RAC reset it came back after a few weeks as flap sticking on the in let manifold.
New manifold fitted under extended vw warranty was fine then.
It will definitely go again unfortunately.
