Wanted: VW Safety kit, warning triangle etc

Long shot but if anyone has a used VW breakdown down kit which as I can see was an option but standard in some markets let me know.

Shortly going to France for a roadtrip and need to sort out the required bits. Back up plan is to just buy a kit from Amazon.

I'd save some money and buy a couple of vests and a triangle from Amazon. The cheapest triangle they sell in a red case fits perfectly in the space in the boot lid. That's all you need as breathalysers and first aid kits are no longer mandatory in France.

Good tip. I've just ordered vest, triangle and UK sticker for about a tenner 🙂

Also, for anyone else finding this, the triangle from the sold separately safety kit doesn’t fit in the holder for the triangle on the boot lid, it’s a different and longer box.
