Ok, I’ve taken literally weeks to get round to this but life, work, the required tools going into hiding and random car changes all conspired to get in the way. But today I’ve finally got round to fitting my GE90 speaker upgrade.

Time to test it.
First up, a bit of radio.
Radio 1 for some pop stuff.
Radio 5 Live for some talking with bits of music and jingles as background (insincere apologies to Farage loving BBC haters at this point)
Then over to CarPlay, first random track Apple Music picked me was:
Ideal as it’s a bit of a wall of sound track, plenty going on
Verdict: definitely more depth, clearer, and I don’t know if this last one is slight placebo as I’m listening in a more concentrated way as a before and after test, using brand new OEM speaker vs. brand new Audison rather than driving along half listening like normal road trips, but there seems to be better sound separation up front.
Happy? Yes. Very.
