Hello, i have this error on my golf and have got as far as finding out the part I need is either 3Q0713128, or same part number with a A at the end which looks to have a extra bit of plastic coming from the switch.

Does anyone know if this is a updated version or if they both do the same job?

Thanks

Just to update, the part without the A at the end I managed to pick up from VW today and fit with no issue (2015 gti) so far error has not returned 🤞

Hi Oscar.

How much did you pay VW for the part.? Did you watch a youtube video for a guide or is it that obvious. Cheers

£123 for the part, and there is a couple of videos on YouTube if you search the fault. You do not need to remove the full centre console like one of the videos does.

But it is a squeeze so if you have sausage fingers probably best to. Easy job took me 30mins.
