Hi all, had this come up on the car this morning. I know it's not something wrong but have no idea what it means, can't find it in manual...

It comes up at the start of every journey. I think it’s just telling you that the front assist system is still initializing and not yet functional. It goes away after a few seconds.

It did go out as soon as I drove away, just can't remember seeing it before... Nice one 😀

I'm glad that has been been explained. Can't say I've ever noticed it.

I have started to get the attached new notification in the last week or so and wondered if everyone else is getting it.

It needs sorting out before every trip. It's quickly resolved (like using the Brocky method of switching off lane assist) but it's just a pain in the ass.

I have had a fair few messages on the infotainment system
Regarding WiFi and car permissions and blah blah blah. It's actually going back to VW tomorrow to have a look into the infotainment system and why it keeps (none done it for a few weeks now sods law) disconnecting my android auto.
Think sometimes the car does too much via the infotainment system...

Mine had been doing the same in regards to the internet connection, wasn’t loading google maps etc properly, seems to have been alright though for last couple of weeks.

Car was back at VW  yesterday to have a look at the infotainment issue... Long story short no issues what so ever we're found they had it hooked up to and android phone for a few hours and I'd didn't drop out once (sods law) but no issues came up the gave the whole car a good going through and all in tope tope condition good to know as I've done 4k in it now since I got it. Happy nothing is wrong but annoyed my phone is likely the cause now...

With that little undercover agent type icon on the top right suggests you need to change your privacy settings to allow access to online services

I hadn't noticed the agent with the hat.  I'll take a look at security settings later and will let you know if that clears it.
