I'm really in two minds about this. I have full VW service history to October and I was planning on doing my own servicing from now on. I'm not eligible for the All-In plan as my car is now over 6 years old.

But even with the discount the basic cost of the standard service plan is £222 per service. That's just for them to change the oil, put a stamp in the (virtual) service book and try and upsell a bunch of stuff I don't need.

Is having a full dealer history really that valuable? WWYD?

I would consider how servicing yourself will affect the saleability of the car. Might put potential buyers off and cost you more than you'll save.

That’s nice news for some!
I renewed my All In 3 weeks ago at £38 pm….but I had to because on 1 March my car was 6 years old and then no longer eligible.
I have to say that for a low ish mileage (45k), dealer serviced, one owner perfect car it seems a bit mean to cut-off the deal at 6 yo but there we are.
I’m keeping the car indefinitely so I figure it’s peace of mind.
Happily, the first time I bought All In it was on offer at £29pm so I won once!

I have gone through all in and now service pack, one major service left, when the car will be 10 years old next year. At 10 years old, I may self service, at that point the mileage may be up to 17.5k miles!

Yeah this will be the same for us.

Just bought as approved used with the one year warranty but car registered Jan 20, so will have to pay full price in January 2026.

NB : watch your dates for Jan 26 as I just squeezed in between expiry of my last All In and this new one by
4 days. The cut- off is quite unforgiving.

Golf R is a March 19 plate, with 47k on clock, FVSH

It was 6 years old this March, purchased September 2023 so has 6 months to run on the VW Approved Warranty, so it would be great to be able to go All in One from September for 2 more years.

Just input the reg and mileage in the service plan system and All in One was offered as an option.

So is the car classified as 6 years before the car turns 7 years old (March 2026) and you can purchase All In One till that 7th birthday?

Also, if I was to do All in One now, to take advantage of the 20% can you define the start date?

I would have a chat with VWFS. I had to phone them as the system wouldn’t clear so denied me the ability to buy a new agreement on- line.
The chap I spoke to was extremely helpful.
I would double check on availability and retain the name of the person you speak to.
