So excited for Saturday

Ordered my CS on the 30/10. Dealer said with the delays at factory etc, was looking for a mid February early March delivery. But car delivered beginning of Feb. So this Saturday St David's day I'll be collecting what I think is a thing of beauty imo!! Thought I would share...

Cheers mate, i went for the HK, DCC, plus the GTI pp plus as you said what you can see. Was undecided at the time whether to go with the blk Estorils, but glad that i went with diamond cut now. Think they really suit the colour of the car. How long they will last is anybody's guess.. :laugh:
I did almost go for the same colour you went for. Looks amazing. But seen a clubby up in Evesham that was CIB and i was hooked.

Very similar spec to mine then, except for the GTI Perf pack (that’s the arka exhaust, right?).

I had the same Estorils on my previous CS, and they were fine! Fortunately I never kerbed any of them and I always hand washed the car myself, so I never had any corrosion issues. The only issue I noticed with them was the gloss black parts didn’t age very well. The rears in particular showed visible signs of road rash, light scratching and minor visible stone chips. The diamond cut faces though looked perfect. I expect the black bits on my new Queenstown wheels may have similar issues, we will see! Maybe the ceramic coating will make them a little more durable.

Looks very smart op. The light colours really seem to suit the 8s and 8.5s.

Exonian, i was so nervous when i went to view the car at dealer, i viewed a clubby at Evesham in ice crystal with black Warmenau it was stunning. However when i put together the car i wanted on configurator, it seemed to me that the car looked too black heavy with the blk pk.
So going to view it in person was a bit of  a heart in mouth moment if i had made the right choice of rims. And i think i did alright to be fair!
So the count down is on mate... :laugh: :laugh:

The gamble paid off! I think it looks stunning.
I’m a big fan of Estorils and they’re easy to clean which is a bonus.
Just a shame we get ripped off with the black pack here.

Why hasn't anyone queried VW UK on this? Or maybe people have and they're not open to queries?

It's a clear error in the pricing, spec that option and you've double-paid for the matrix lights. I (and others) queried VW Ireland on it back in October and they were quick to correct it.
