A positive glitch?
« on: 23 February 2025, 20:07 »
Was using Google maps for navigation a couple of days ago and noticed the normal sat nav was also showing on the main instrument cluster. It usually doesn’t display with a message saying it’s on the other screen or such like.

Anyone else seen this?

Wow, I had this too recently. I was using Google Maps for directions and the maps were still displaying in the dash too. It was awesome. But I haven’t been able to replicate it.

I've had this as well. It's pretty cool
If you install Waze as well on your phone and use that for some reason it also updates "audible voice" about pot holes, traffic ,speed traps etc I haven't used Waze for directions in a while just the VW sat nav or Google maps but Waze is still running in the background...

It didn’t work yesterday but did today. Not sure what was different.

Maybe related to latest iOS update as didn’t see it before.

Much nicer than seeing the message saying it doesn’t work
