« on: 22 January 2025, 19:18 »
Hello guys!

Maybe someone can help me with some information about golf 7.5 gti tcr wheel bearing protrusion from the brake disc.
I would like to add a 10mm spacer to my oem pretorias but i need that dimension to find out 10mm spacer will fit.

A set of hubcentric spacers from a reputable company will have the correct length of spigot if they’re designed to fit a mk7.
Personally with an OEM Pretoria at ET50 I’d go maximum of 10mm on the front and 12mm rear. The fronts would be tight for clearance but the rears you might even be able to get away with 15mm.
Eibach, H&R, Sparco etc

Helllo!

I asked a few shops around me non of them know this lenght.
So today i took off the wheel and measured!
From the brake disc to the hub end is 12mm
I asked this question because i would like to install audi tts brake calipers but with the oem pretoria it will not fit i need spacers and i would like as thin spacer as i can so i took some measurements and my final conclusion was fron 12mm and rear 15mm.

On this picture with oem 19" et 50 pretoria with 15mm spacer you can see i have got 7mm space between wheel and caliper so if i go with 12mm i still have 4mm  i think with 10mm spacer it will be too close to the caliper and on the other forum someone said with 235/35/19 it will not rub or damage anything on 12mm spacers

Wow! Those are impressive brakes.
Are you using the car for track days?

On a previous Golf R I had (almost 10 years ago) I ran a set of VW Motorsport wheels that were 8x19 ET41 (Scirocco fitment) which is equivalent to a set of 9mm spacers on a set of Pretorias. It would occasionally foul on full steering lock but was otherwise fine for front wheel arch clearance. 12mm spacers will hopefully be ok too.
